Application for Admission
Detailed information on how to access and complete the application for admission to the Chief Information Officer - Leadership Development Program (CIO-LDP), Master of Science in Government Information Leadership (M.S. GIL) and Certificate programs can be found on our Application Instructions and Apply Online pages.

 

Recommendations should be completed on either the recommendation form provided above or on organizational letterhead. All recommendations, regardless of format, must address the questions asked in the recommendation form. Recommendations should be written by persons able to judge the applicant's ability to complete a challenging graduate level degree program.
 
Letters of recommendation can be uploaded to the applicant's application, emailed to the College of Information and Cyberspace (CIC) Office of Student Services at CICOSS@ndu.edu, or mailed to:

**Please note, letters or recommendation must be signed by the recommender either digitally via CAC/PIV or with a hand written signature. Recommendations that are not signed will not be accepted, and the applicant will be contacted to submit a signed version of the form. Please review all recommendations for completeness before submitting for review.

 

The Employment Verification and Recommendation Form should be completed by the applicant's current supervisor. For this document to be accepted it must be completed in its entirety with a valid digital or handwritten signature. Please review this form for completeness before submitting for consideration.

Program withdrawal is granted when a student no longer wishes to actively pursue an academic course of study at the College of Information and Cyberspace. When a student withdraws the Office of Student Services will withdraw the student from their program and cancel any future course enrollment(s) if applicable.
 
Students who wish to end their participation in a CIC program may submit a Program Withdrawal Form to the CIC Office of Student Services at CICOSS@ndu.edu. Confirmation of withdrawal will be provided by e-mail.
 
** Please note, a student who formally withdraws from a program, but who subsequently wishes to be reinstated, must re-apply following the College of Information and Cyberspace’s regular application process. 
 
 

If a student's eligibility changes (e.g., employer, pay grade, rank), he or she must notify the Office of Student Services immediately. Students who have had an eligibility change must complete the Student Employer Change Form and submit it to the CIC Office of Student Services at CICOSS@ndu.edu. Upon receipt, the student's record will be updated accordingly. Please note, the student may be asked to provide additional documentation if deemed necessary. 

 
Non-Program Seeking students who wish to enroll in a CIC Certificate Program can do so by completing this form and submitting it to CICOSS@ndu.edu. Upon receipt, the student will be enrolled in the program of their choice and a corresponding Program Plan will be sent to the student by their Academic Advisor.
