iCollege Decks the Halls for the Holidays

By Patricia Coopersmith

Staff, students, and visitors to National Defense University's Marshall Hall

were met on Monday, December 1 with a with a two-story holiday display of

beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, and other ornaments.

In addition to being the home of the NDU iCollege, Marshall Hall is the focal point

of NDU's holiday celebrations, culminating with the annual Holiday Fest each year,

when the main hallway and atrium is filled with food, music, and plenty of holiday cheer.

Led by the iCollege, a small team of faculty and staff from across the university

completed the holiday display.  First to be erected was the giant Christmas tree in the

Marshall Hall atrium.  Smaller trees representing the world's regions surround the

main tree and are decorated with regional and ethnic ornaments placed by the

families of NDU's international students.  In addition, wreaths of various sizes adorn

the main hallways and balcony landings on the second and third floors.

Happy Holidays to all !!!
