Colonel Jonathan (Jon) Beasley is currently the Dean of Students at the College of information and Cyberspace inside the National Defense University.
Colonel Beasley began his military career as an enlisted Soldier in 1988. He then received his commission as an Infantry Officer in 1994 after graduating from the University of Toledo as a Distinguished Military Graduate. During his over 30 years of service he has commanded numerous times including twice at both the company and battalion levels.
In addition to his command assignments, Colonel Beasley has served on the Headquarters Department of the Army staff, the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization, United States Army Pacific, Combined Security Training and Assistance Command-Afghanistan, Joint Security Area-Panmunjom, Observer/ Controller at the Joint Readiness Training Center, and multiple staff positions inside Combat Arms Brigades and Battalions. Colonel Beasley has been deployed numerous times, in support of Operation Desert Shield/ Storm, Kosovo, Iraq and three times to Afghanistan.
Colonel Beasley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toledo; a Master of Science from the Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy and a Master of Arts from Louisiana State University.
