Joe Cheravitch is an Assistant Professor at National Defense University’s College of Information and Cyberspace. Joe has previously worked as an analyst with the Department of Homeland Security, RAND Corporation, and the Central Intelligence Agency. He is also a doctoral student at the Defense Studies Department at King’s College London, where his research focuses on the history of the Russian military’s approach to information warfare. Joe completed an MS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in 2014, where he specialized in international politics and security issues. Between 2008 and 2012, Joe served in the US Army as a Psychological Operations Specialist, deploying to Afghanistan in 2010 and Iraq in 2011.
