Lt Col Stargell A. Mosley

Assistant Professor

Lt Col Stargell “Mose” Mosley serves as a member of the military faculty at the National Defense University (NDU) College of Information and Cyberspace (CIC). He facilities national security professionals from the U.S. military, interagency, partners, and allies.

Lt Col Mosley is an experienced USAF officer and leader with 21 years in acquisitions, education, training, recruiting, and joint force operations. Lt Col Mosley is a proven strategic joint leader and skilled program manager.

Lt Col Mosley was born in Atlanta, Ga. He received his bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Tennessee State University, Nashville, TN and was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 2003.

In his previous assignments, Lt Col Mosley served as Commander of the 3rd Battalion, United States Military Entrance Processing Command, and the Denver Military Entrance Processing Station. Prior to that, he served as Chief of the BESPIN Solution Center at Business Enterprise Systems, Gunter Annex, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama where he led 200+ military, civilians, and contractors in building and operating the Air Force’s mobile center of excellence and served as Commander, 37th Training Support Squadron, 37th Training Wing Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. Lt Col Mosley has also provided expert and integrated position/advise to Program Executive Officers, Service Acquisition Executive (SAE) and AF leadership on programming, budgeting, execution, and acquisition reporting for Air Force modernization programs.
