Relevant Professional Experience:
Prior to working at the College of Information and Cyberspace, Ms. Ferguson was an Assistant Vice President in the Finance and Administration (F&A) Division at Yale University where she led the implementation of core and operational performance metrics for the F&A Division. Before joining Yale, she obtained extensive Federal government experience working at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Defense Finance and Accounting Service, and the Department of Navy where she successfully led the implementation of several accounting and financial management initiatives related to financial management policy, financial reporting, data analysis, and financial systems to improve the effectiveness of finance and accounting operations. At NASA, Ms. Ferguson implemented and managed NASA’s first Working Capital Fund and she led NASA in complying with OMB Circular A-123, Management’s Responsibility for Internal Control, Appendix A, Internal Control over Financial Reporting. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her career accomplishments.
