Relevant Professional Experience: 
Following a twenty year career in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Crane joined the faculty of the iCollege at National Defense University. While in the Navy, Mr. Crane was a helicopter pilot who made several deployments to the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans.  After obtaining a Master of Science in Information Systems Management from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, he was a Branch Head in the Navy’s Pay and Personnel Source Data System Program Office.

Scholarship:
Mr. Crane has presented on a number of topics, including problem-based learning at the 2004 Critical Thinking Conference and earned value management at the 2nd Annual eGovernment Institute Program Management Summit, November 2004.  He was a member of a panel discussion on IT Program Leadership at the 4th Annual eGovernment Institute Program Management Summit, October 12-13, 2006.
