Lt Col James Skelton serves as military faculty and the Air Force Chair at National Defense University’s Information Recourses Management College. A career USAF Communications & Information/Cyberspace Operations Officer, his experience stems from a diverse array of operational and staff assignments in tactical and fixed C4I, airborne command and control, the intelligence community, two Major Commands, and duties supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel & Readiness. Prior to assuming his current position, he commanded the 39th Communications Squadron at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey where he provided C4I and airfield systems support to the 39th Air Base Wing’s nuclear surety mission. Lt Col Skelton is a graduate of the NDU iCollege Advanced Management Program where he received the Chief Information Officer certificate
