Cyber Beacon IV kicks off September 27th. The two day event brings together a select group of senior decision makers and thought leaders from across the government, the private sector, and academia to challenge current thinking on critical issues associated with national security in cyberspace. Participants will collaborate to provide actionable recommendations intended to shape national security policy. The theme for this year's Cyber Beacon is "Charting a Course In and Beyond Cyberspace." The panels and discussions will focus on these topics:
- National Policy: Do we have the right national cyberspace strategy or do we need a cyber 'Project Solarium"?
- Risk and Resiliency: How do we do more rapidly deploy resilient systems such as AI, Cloud, and IoT/IoE to meet the challenges presented by our increasingly vulnerable critical infrastructures?
- Strategic Innovation: How do we maximize our ability to avoid strategic surprise and leverage innovation to maintain superiority in cyberspace?
- Educating Strategic Cyber Leaders: What best practices in strategic leader education should be embraced, and what new approaches are worth piloting?
