The Smart Power Infrastructure Demonstration for Energy Reliability and Security (SPIDERS) Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD) Industry Day was held at the National Defense University iCollege on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. SPIDERS is jointly sponsored by the Departments of Defense, Energy, and Homeland Security (DoD, DOE, DHS). This event provided organizations interested in implementing a secure microgrid with guidance on assessing their facility's needs, translating them into procurement requirements, and assembling the necessary site data package for bidders.
