Lab Tour Group
Congressional Staffers & ARCYBER Visitors to the iCollege

On April 27, a group of Congressional staffers and Army Cyber (ARCYBER) representatives visited the NDU iCollege cyber laboratories to gain an understanding of the dynamics of cyber security and demonstrate a strong association between education,  ARCYBER, and cyber defense.  Professors John Saunders and Jim Chen worked closely with their ARCYBER counterparts to e
ducate Congressional Staff on the Army's efforts to counter and prevent cyber vulnerabilities.

Cyber Security Attack/Defend and SCADA Labs:  As a NSA/DHS-designated Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education, the iCollege operates two cyber security labs addressing threats to information systems. The Cyber Attack/Defend Lab provides an environment to examine computer and network defense through exercises in intrusion techniques, mitigation, and forensics. The Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Lab simulates realistic exploits and protections of various industrial control systems, such as electrical, oil, gas, water, and transportation grids.
