Nova Southeastern University Becomes Latest Academic Partner

Congratulations to Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL for becoming the latest academic partner of the NDU iCollege.  The college's partners accept up to 15 graduate credits for students who complete select iCollege certificate programs.  Dr. Jim Cannady at is the point of contact at Nova Southeastern University.

General information on the college's partnership program is below and on the Academic Partner page of the iCollege's website:

The NDU iCollege continues to form and maintain academic partnerships with regionally accredited universities across the United States, signing Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with universities whose programs align well with the iCollege's certificates. Graduates from the college’s many certificate programs can apply to a number of partner institutions for completion of a Master’s or Doctoral/PhD Degree. There are a multitude of degree choices for NDU iCollege graduates at the partner institutions.

Academic partners accept 8-to-15 graduate semester credits depending on which certificate program and how many courses were completed at the NDU iCollege. Please note that due to the iCollege reducing certificate requirements after July 1, 2014, students completing fewer courses under this new model will typically receive a maximum of 12 transfer credits.  Students beginning the longer programs (8 courses) before mid-2014 may still be able to transfer 15 credits to partner schools, depending on any changes to the agreement with the iCollege.

Currently, there are more than 30 current NDU iCollege academic partners, which are listed under Academics, then Academic Partners on the college's website.  Many academic partners provide full-time, part-time, and online educational opportunities.

Questions about the partnership program should be directed to Patricia Coopersmith, Director of Outreach and Partnerships, at, 202-685-2117.
