Dr. Joseph H. Schafer is a Professor at NDU’s College of Information and Cyberspace.  He is an adjunct at GWU and has taught at DAU and West Point. Following his Army career, he served as VP of L3 and exec at Dell.  Joseph was CTO for a health IT startup and enjoys supporting cyber ventures. His degrees include a BS in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from West Point, MS and PhD in Comp Sci from GWU, MA in Strategy from the Naval War College and an MBA from UVA Darden. Certifications include CISSP, PMP, and CEH. Joseph’s current research focuses on the national security and strategy implications of information power and cybersecurity governance.
