LTC Keith Caldwell is an Information Systems Engineer (Functional Area 26B) currently serving as a military faculty member in the College of Information and Cyberspace (CIC) at National Defense University (NDU) on historic Fort McNair in Washington D.C. Keith has experience in a variety of technology and cyber roles at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels.

While assigned to U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) J6, Keith served as the Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Chief which was responsible for DCO and coordination of Cyber Protection Team (CPT) activities with Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF) and Service Components. He also served as the Data Center Management Chief for the Personnel Information Systems Directorate at the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC). His HRC duties included managing over 25,000 square feet of data center floor space that supported over 200 applications for Army human resources and recruiting missions. Keith was also responsible for managing and ensuring the efficient management of power, space, and cooling requirements for the data center facilities to include the COOP sites.

LTC Caldwell also served as the Deputy G6 for the U.S. Army War College, where his duties included information technology implementations, software acquisitions, and software application development for the college. Prior to that, Keith was a System Engineer supporting 704th Military Intelligence (MI) Brigade where his duties included designing, deploying, and maintaining systems and classified networks in support of signals intelligence (SIGINT) operations. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Jackson State University and an M.S. in Information Systems from Auburn University. Keith is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a graduate of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) Leadership Development Program (LDP) at NDU.
