Colonel Eric M. Murphy is an Assistant Professor and the Air Force Chair at the College of Information and Cyberspace.  Highlights from his career include as a test manager and operations research analyst with the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, on the Air Staff analyzing future operations, war plans, and program alternatives, as the Commander of the Air Education and Training Command Studies and Analysis Squadron, and as an analyst with CAPE.  He has taught both at the US Air Force Academy and at the Eisenhower School and earned his PhD from Texas Tech.  Colonel Murphy has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan, and supported numerous exercises.
