Kristi Galbraith

Event Specialist

Kristi Galbraith serves as the Event Specialist for the University Consortium for Cybersecurity, within the College of Information and Cyberspace, where she supports the planning and execution of conferences, workshops, seminars, symposia, and other special events. She specializes in event planning as well as logistical and operational coordination, contract management, and training and development.

Before joining CIC, Ms. Galbraith worked at the Fort Polk Army Community Service center, where she served as the Family Advocacy Program coordinator and contract site lead. In these roles, she oversaw program operations, coordinated community support services, and managed key initiatives to enhance family readiness and well-being such as the long-standing Date Nights, and Domestic Violence Awareness Month campaigns that directly impacted and supported the Fort Polk community. Ms. Galbraith is proud to have served the Fort Polk Soldiers and community for over 12 years.

Ms. Galbraith holds a bachelor’s in human resource management, graduating summa cum laude from Columbia Southern University. She was also inaugurated into the Omega Nu Lamda National Honor Society and National Society of Leadership and Success.
