Mr. Russell Quirici

Dean of Administration

Russell Quirici is Dean of Administration at the National Defense University College of Information and Cyberspace (NDU CIC) in Washington, DC.  A retired Colonel in the US Army, he has nearly 30 years of military and civilian federal service. While in the military, he had extensive command and staff experience in tactical units, both stateside and overseas. Additionally, he has served on the faculty in the Department of History at West Point, in Congressional Activities Division in the Office of the Chief of Staff of Army at the Pentagon, and in Joint Experimentation and Transformation at Pacific Command. At the National Defense University, Russ Quirici has taught military theory and national security strategy development, with an emphasis on the development of military strategy, strategic planning, and transformation in the Information Age.  He holds a B.S. in Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, an M.A. in History from The Pennsylvania State University, an M.S. in National Security Studies from the National War College, and is a graduate of the Information Resources Management College Advanced Management and CIO certification programs.
