Relevant Professional Experience:
Over 40 years of DoD financial management experience covering a wide range of assignments and experiences. He is a Certified Management Accountant, Certified Government Financial Manager and Certified Defense Financial Manager. Previous assignments include: Principal Deputy Director of DFAS, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Operations, seven years in the private sector supporting DoD information technology needs, and 21 years in the Air Force financial management community. Mr Gustafson has received numerous awards and recognitions culminating with the Senior Executive Service Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Service in 2010.
