CDR Giuseppe, a native of Arlington, VA, enlisted in the Navy as a nuclear machinist mate in 1987. He was commissioned in 1996 through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Program at the George Washington University and was designated a Naval Aviator in 1998.  He holds a master’s degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College.

His squadron assignments include the VT-6 Shooters, VT-22 Golden Eagles, VFA-136 Knighthawks, VFA-131 Wildcats and VFA-143 Pukin’ Dogs.  Shore billets include Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) with follow-on assignment to Strike Fighter Weapons School Atlantic, Defense Contract Management Agency, Joint Warfare Analysis Center, and National War College.

Giuseppe commanded the United States Navy Ceremonial Guard, Washington, D.C. from August 2013 to June 2016.  He reported to the College of Information and Cyberspace in July 2016.

Giuseppe has accumulated over 2,500 flight hours in the T-34, T-45, and F/A-18A-E with over 650 carrier arrested landings. His awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Strike Flight Air Medals (5 awards), Navy Commendation Medals (3 awards), Navy Achievement Medals (2 awards) and numerous other campaign and unit awards.
