• On 15 June, RADM (Ret) Jan Hamby, CIC Chancellor, participated in a panel presentation at the AFCEA Defensive Cyber Operations Symposium. The panel discussed the topic of
“Readiness in the Cyber Domain: The Fight for Talent and Resources.”
• On 19 June, Dr. Jim Chen, CIC Professor, gave a presentation entitled “Cybersecurity Education and Awareness Training: A Societal Project” to the 30th National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Federal Information Systems Security Educators’ Association (FISSEA) Annual Conference held at NIST.
• In June, Dr. John Hurley, CIC Professor, published an article entitled “Cyberspace: The New Battlefield - An Approach via the Analytics Hierarchy Process” in the International Journal of Cyber Warfare and Terrorism, Volume 7, Issue 3.
