Honoring our Wounded Warriors
AFCEA NOVA 35th Anniversary Black Tie Tribute to Wounded Warriors

Our Nation's Warriors defend our freedoms at home and abroad. Many of our young men and women have suffered deep physical wounds; wounds they will carry for the rest of their lives. Please join us on 7 February 2015 for an evening of elegance to honor our Wounded Warriors. Our Guests of Honor will be service members currently undergoing treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, attending with their loved ones. Join us in recognizing their sacrifices with a joyful event guaranteed to raise their spirits.

For over 30 years, the Black Tie Tribute event has brought together nearly 700 industry, military, and Federal Government telecommunications and IT professionals and their spouses to honor our veterans. In addition, the event is an opportunity for Industry partners to reinforce their commitment to the community. This year, as in the past, any surplus funds from the Black Tie Tribute event go towards educational scholarships through the AFCEA NOVA Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are available to students studying the hard sciences including mathematics, information technology, computer science, and others.

Event Location:
Sheraton Tysons Hotel
8661 Leesburg Pike
Vienna, VA 22182
